The following was an assignment from my friend Stefanie: She wanted an illustration for a cake. It was for her mom’s 50th birthday. She told me everything about her: How she met her dad (he was her natural sciences teacher – scandalous!), hot disco nights, holidays in Hungary, love, love, love, etc.
I created a short graphic novel (really – very short. A cake has its limiations). I wished I had a picture of the cake, but somebody ate my assignment!
