Juliane Pieper was born in Stuttgart, Germany and works as illustrator, graphic designer and author for newspapers, magazines and publishing houses and has edited and illustrated several books.
She received her master in communication design at Art and Design School Berlin (KHB) in 2009 and a Master in illustration from FIT in 2011. She also holds a Master in politics and literature.
Her work was awarded and has been featured
in 3 x 3 Magazine, American Illustration, Freistil – Best of European Commercial Illustration, Der Tagesspiegel, Stuttgarter Wochenblatt and Slanted.
She received a Fulbright Scholarship for 2009/2010 and The Quadrille Ball Scholarship of the Germanistic Society of America for 2011.
Juliane lives currently in Brooklyn, New York.

Die Illustratorin
Juliane Pieper nutzt ihre linke Hand als freiberufliche Illustratorin, Künstlerin, Autorin und Grafikerin.
Juliane Pieper arbeitet als Illustratorin für Zeitschriften, Magazine, Zeitungen und Verlage. Ihr Bereich ist Buchillustration und Editorial Illustration (Redaktionelle Illustration). Sie ist ausgebildete Grafikdesignerin und Illustratorin und hat an der Kunsthochschule Berlin Weissensee in Kommunikationsdesign graduiert und ihren Master of Arts in Illustration am FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) in New York gemacht.
